I have just been diagnosed with the above. Early days I know, but I am very anxious and started medication for it. I have cancer on both sides of my family, should I ask for a hysterectomy now rather than waiting ? I'm peri menopausal. Thank you.

Having a hysterectomy is a large operation and brings with it its own list of pros and cons so I'd suggest that you discuss your concerns with the Consultant. They will have all your personal information to hand and will be best placed to answer your questions and talk about what options may be appropriate.
