congrats on finishing your RT! I was treated for tongue cancer so not exactly the same but similar issues with mouth pain. One week post treatment I'd say was the peak for pain. I probably started to try real food about 3-7 days later. Very soft food at first and it was painful but the more I managed the better it got. It got progressively better over the next 6 to 8 weeks. During weeks 9-12 I was getting back to eating more varied foods, and at 3 months I went on holiday with friends to Thailand where I was able to eat most things including mild curry! Hang in there, it does get better. 15 months out RT has no impact on my eating. 

Thanks for your reply great to hear you are doing well nice to hear other people's stories.I was taking oramorph for the pain but I have decided to try solphdain instead as the doctor says it can cause sickness so hopefully this works thanks again.
