Yea I was the same, expecting lots of morphine for my masectomy... just two paracetamol was all that was needed .. still can't understand why there's so little pain with such a huge cut .. when I had a hysterectomy some years ago, loved the morphine drip on comming round from op .. and was expecting Simerla...  but was tender under the arm were they took lymph nodes... that's still quite weak ... 

Yea get them drains out, and you'll feel a lot better .. but I did get an infection about 10 days on .. so keep an eye out for colour change and heat spots ... Chrissie x

Thank you, for replying does seem a strange thing to get your head round, not much pain. Everyone's asking and seems surprised... But just numbness and twinges

Hiya! I had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal 3 weeks ago. Not to put a downer on it but I started getting pain once the nerves had started to knit back together. Still not enough pain to take any major painkillers though!

my swelling was the worst as I didn’t have a drain so I had a tennis ball size clump of fluid under my armpit (not very fun). I did manage to get rid of it with the exercises and painting my living room xxx
