  • Hi there ...

Well this is an unusual thread ... so we can only give you opinions ... in the end it's your life, your body ...

I think everyone who wants to take this course should get all the facts .. ask what percentage treatment has over no treatment ... health, age, and quality of life .. listen to all views ... really really think ... and find the path your most comfortable with ..

I think if someone wants treatments, no mater their age or sercomsties they should be offered it if possible .. if someone wants to just take each day and make the most of that day .. for whatever that journey brings .. long or short .. then that should be respected too ...

There's some treatments I've had . . Masectomy and tamoxifen ... I declined radiotherapy as my bones are really weak ... and don't think they could take much more ... so I'm sort of in between the two .. but I weighed everything up .. I took control of my journey... but I had an amazing surgeon who has guided me .. told me everything I needed to know ... then he gave me a few weeks to see how l wanted to go ... and he said he's always there if I need anything ... so I'm so so lucky .. and I've talked to all my close family and they've supported me 100 percent in what ever I wanted to do ...

Needless to say, if I'd been younger and fitter .. with young children I would have done anything .. so all I'd say to you .. is look into your heart ... what do YOU want ... I've never regretted my path .. so whatever YOU decide .. be a piece with that, and don't look back ...

Always here if you want a chat ...  Chrissie xx
