Dimple on right breast. Help!

Hey everyone,

So hubby is away on a stag do untill Monday and I am home with our 3 boys.

Last night after all the boys went to bed I changed into my pjs infront of the mirror (which I very rarely do!) I noticed my right boob seemed mishaped and a small dent underneath

I didnt think much of it at the time but ended up not sleeping well and this morning had almost convinced myself it was a dream!!!

I have checked again this morning while the boys had breakfast and I have a definite dimple/dent.

Ive spent the morning googling! (Worst thing ever!) Haven't said anything to hubby either but do I wait till Tuesday to call Dr (I think surgery will be closed Monday due to bank holiday) or should I call 111?

I am panicked to say the least and not sure what to do for the best

Any calming advice would be appreciated

  • Hello love, first breathe.......calm your mind and thoughts.....On Tuesday morning ring your GP, do tell them about the dent/dimple , they will get you in quicker......

It's  very probably hormonal or tissue thickening, but we all jump to conclusions, its human nature.....stay off dr google, he will have you in a tail spin for sure!

Let us know how you get on at the doctors? And don't go into another panic if they send you to the breast clinic....

in the meantime it's worth remembering 8/9 out of 10 breast issues are nothing, and your young....so odds in your favour....

lucky hubby having a boys weekend! Hope you get a break too? Xxxx

Thank you for your reply.  Dr Google definitely isn't my friend.

Yep hubby is in Wales just about to start an Ale Trail!

Hope you enjoy the bank holiday xxx

  • So I got an appointment yesterday so the Dr, had to wait a whole hour as she was running late! But she agreed to seeing the dimple and feeling the thickening underneath. She is referring me to the breast clinic, should have appointment within the next 2 weeks. Feeling oddly calm!! Nice to know it wasn't in my head and that I am being looked after Although a little anxious about the appointment itself! And I have finally told hubby and our parents so good to have their support
  • Good girl, the clinic is a breeze ( honest) hope you can take someone with you? It will help pass the time. The clinic will be very thorough......good luck and keep us posted? Xxx

  • Yes hubby will come along with me or my best friend.

I think thats why I feel so calm as I know I will be checked thoroughly and well looked after.

Just got to wait for the appointment to arrive! I'll keep you updated

Thanks again for your reply and support, hope you had a lovely bank hoilday xxx

  • Call from hospital today and my appointment is June 12th at 9:30am.

So very grateful for being seen within the 2 weeks! And am staying clear of Dr Google till then

The 3 boys and hubby will keep me occupied till then I am sure xxx

  • Good girl, now try and relax and put it out of your mind, everything is in hand....xx
