i also have two areas of bone mets  and have had Denosumab  injections  for the last twelve months  ( previously was on Zometa) along  with Calcium tablets and I have had no side effects at all from it .The injection takes about 10 seconds in the fatty part  of the top of my arm - don ‘t feel a thing!  The Oncologist tells me that Denosumab is “Superior. “ Hope this helps and wishing you good luck.

Thank you so much for your positive response! Reading of all the possible side effects is so off putting.

have you had any radiotherapy on your mets? I had a one off concentrated dose on mine. It was very helpful on my rib last Sept, had another treatment on my spine about 2months ago. It has helped a lot but still in some pain. Thanks for your help.
