Denosumab

Am about to embark on my Denosumab journey. After 8 years clear its decided to rear its ugly head. Pelvic bone met one 11mm supraclavicular lymph node.

Any experiences with this drug would be greatful.

  • Hello I had a mastectomy last year and have been put on Denosumab as I have a patch left on my breast and collar bone. I have it injected into my stomach every four weeks, I get hubby to do it as I am not very good at sticking myself with a needle. I have been on it for a while now and not noticed any side effects and my last scan showed that the cancer was stable so it has been really worth having it. Hope this helps Karen
  • Hi Karen Thank you for that. I know they have to warn you of the side effects. Hopefully everything will be fine dental wise my teeth are the only things that aren't falling apart yet :) am also having Zolandex injected monthly as well so all being well it will sort this out. All the best xx
