Hi there Tara..  and welcome to the place we come, so we don't feel alone ... where wer all touched with or by cancer ... and as I've been on both sides , for me, it's far harder watching someone you love going though this journey of ours ... I coped with mine really o.k ... but fell apart when my son was having tests ..  so I know just how heartbraking this time is for you ... give your self the space and time to realise just how you are feeling too ... it is all part of loving so deeply ...

Please phone the Drs, or even A an E to tell them your dad's in so much pain as I don't think mcmillan are there till Monday. . They are really good for palitive care, and making sure they have as little pain as poss ..  give them a ring monday ... call everyone you can and puts to get him more pain relief ... I know it means he'll sleep more but at least the pain will ease ...
