I'm sorry to hear about your Dad and I hope you're getting on OK. I can imagine this is a tough situation. Perhaps you can explain to him that it's important for you to know and maybe he would allow you to speak to his consultant. It would be good to talk this through with your Dad so you can explain how you feel and he can also do the same.
