Cutaneous T cell non hodgkin lymphoma

It all began with the tiniest lump on my stomach in October 2017. The lump became inflamed and into an abcess which I had to have surgery on with General A in November and that's when they discovered the cancer. A big shock. Pet scan in November was all clear. Had a lovely Christmas with my family over joyed then in January 2018 another little lump appeared. Had biopsy and yes the cancer was there. I have begun radiotherapy last Monday. Going for start of second week today. Got to have three weeks. They said I am having superficial treatment so I shouldn't have many side effects. Since then another lump found on my knee and had biopsy done on that. Waiting for result. Getting paranoia over every bump I get. I feel well in myself but so worried. Hoping someone else is going through the same journey that I can talk to. Wishing everyone good luck and thank you for listening xxx

  • Hi there ... your deffinatly not alone ... l think most of us, after we get that cancer diagnosis worry when we get headache or upset stomach , chest pain or a cough ... it just sets off little signals , and we wonder ... so hang on in there ... and just get it checked with the Dr,  I'm sure they are used to us worrying ... so know your just being normal ... it would be more strange if it didn't worry you ..

Sending you a vertual hug ... Chrissie x

  • Hi Chrissie. Thank you for your kind words. It helps to be in touch with others on this awful journey. Trying to stay positive for my family but scared as hell really. Good to talk though and realise there are so many folks of all ages with this. When they say that C word your heart stops and you can't believe you have it can you. Hope you are feeling ok . Hugs back to you. xxx
