As we approach the festive season, a happy time for so many, here at Cancer Chat we are aware that it can be challenging for those who are experiencing cancer first hand or with a loved one. For some people it will be the first Christmas without a family member or a cherished friend, while others are facing decisions, treatments and the uncertainty of what the future may hold.

With this in mind, we hope you will continue to find the support you need here with us. Cancer Chat is here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have some advice on our website Coping with Christmas when you have cancer and there  is also a section on Coping with grief.

Our team of specialist nurses are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. The helpline closes at 5pm on 22nd reopening at 9am on Wednesday the 28th. It will also be closed on Monday 2nd January 2017.
