Continuing head pain as a result of cancer treatment

Hi new to chat, I had cancer when I was 3 in 1981 and was given 6 week radiotherapy and over 2 year chemotherapy.  Consequently my heart failed so I needed a transplant and my head never grew past the age of 5. I now suffer now constant pressure in my head that only gets worse and I would very much like to chat with anyone who had the same rare nose bone cancer as I did rinocircinoma or even given to much treatment that continued to plague their lives after surviving cancer.

  • Hello Johnboy78

I'm sorry to hear about the problems that you've been left with as a result of your treatment during your childhood. It sounds as if it's had a very significant impact on your life.

I've had a look through the forum and I can't see that we've anyone who has mentioned having the same diagnosis. I'm sure that we will have members here who are living with continued side effects from their cancer treatment and hopefully they will post to share their stories with you.

If you'd like to chat with one of our nurses for some support you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm). They will be back in the office after the bank holiday weekend.

    Best wishes,
