No, you’re not missing something! It can all happen very quickly when it’s straightforward. I believe they don’t need to give you any radiotherapy after a mastectomy as there’s no tissue left there to be treated.  Well done.  Keep healing! Keep smiling! Xx

Im confussed for you too, do you not need any chemo tablets or anything??.. i was diagnosed with triple negative BC in April.. i have had a Double Mastectomy and reconstruction and i also have the BRCA1 gene. I have no sign of spread but am currently having mop up chemo as i was told that this was the only way to makesure it hasnt got into my blood stream. 

Sorry i only just read that you had put just tablets.. so atleast if your having tablets then that may all be all you need, depending on what type of bc it was.. your very lucky.. but makesure your satisfied with why its just tablets....xx

...today at exactly same time - walked out of hospital with tamoxifen ( for 5 years ) ..not a 5 yr  supply in my bag ! 

I wish it was like my experience for everyone ...but I am proof it's not always as bad as it seems ... and best wishes to all
