Colposcopy and hysteroscopy

Hello everyone 

so had a smear test it came back I was hpv postive with abnormal cells cin 1 grade also the nurse noticed I had a large polyp, on 18th may I had a colposcopy and a biopsy taken from polyp, after 4 weeks received not results but had a letter today saying about my upcoming appointment for September for a hysteroscopy to be done. So I'm worried now finally chasing and calling so many people I've found out I've got a appointment on 28th as my polyp biopsy also came back cin 1, but the lady didn't know why I have this appointment for a hysteroscopy in September? Has anyone had this issue

    I'm sorry to hear that your recent cervical screening results and subsequent colposcopy results have given you some cause for concern. 

    It's very unfortunate that the future appointments you've been scheduled for have come through in the post before you've had your follow-up appointment with the Consultant. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious and concerned about things. 

    It's good to hear that the appointment is arranged for the 28th and hopefully the team will be able to answers your questions and give you some reassurance.
