Hi, 

So I got referred for a Colposcopy after receiving my Smear Results which were Abnormal Low Grade Cells and HPV. 

I had my colposcopy this morning, I'd read up about it and I didn't expect it to hurt more than my smear but I had a bit of a surprise. The Doctor and Nurses were amazing from start to finish, so soothing and supportive, so a massive thank you to them. They ended up taking a biopsy. 
 

But I just wanted to know if anyone had experienced what I did? They struggled with putting the speculum in which had never been an issue before. When I had my smear, it hurt but it went in fine. This time they could barely open it.
