Hi. Please don’t panic! It’s probably protocol to inform you in person what the biospy results are. If there weren’t any polys - then there is no reason for concern. He will probably inform you he found inflammation in your colon. I too have a family history of colitis and I’m having bowel problems and due for a colonoscopy soon (I’m hoping it is just colitis of some form) but please remain calm! Enjoy your evening. Age is on your side too and with a family history of colitis - it is more than likely to be colitis!

hi thank your for your reply, they did say when I was there that it was inflamed. I think it’s just they rang yesterday for me to come in today that’s got me panicking

They found some inflmmation when i had a colonoscopy a few months but the biopsy came back inconclusive and thus far can't find the cause kf my symptoms or the inflammation which is odd, had a video capsule endoscopy around 1 month ago which i got told on monday failed as it just hung around in my stomach for the 8 hours of recording grrr so fristrated. I hope your results are good :)
