Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear about your Mum's diagnosis. It's completely normal that you feel scared about this - many of the other members here will have felt the same. 

This period of waiting for more tests and results can be particularly difficult for some people. The unknown can be scary. Hopefully after next weeks CT and surgery the Consultant will be able to give you more information about your Mum's illness.
