Hi, my sister has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma (blood cancer) which was found after a cyst in her breast had grown and she then had a biopsy; the lump is ok, just a cyst, but the lymph nodes taken at the same time revealed the lymphoma.

This was last week so treatment not started yet, apparently it is in early stages so that's hopeful.

I myself was diagnosed with MGUS ( a blood disorder), at the begining of this year, this apparently has a very very small chance 10% of becoming multiple myloma.

I am just wondering if there is any connection between the two blood disorders. It seems to be very coincidental that both of us have developed blood problems within a year.

Has anyone any ideas????
