Hi jo, just wanted to say I'm sorry and I know how you feel about Easter. This our first 'occasion' without dad who died in Feb. He LOVED family gettogethers so  easter has been very hard, especially for mum. I wish I had something positive to say but only that you're not alone xx

Thank you for lovely reply no unfortunately thats just it im not alone too many lovely people losing the fight its cruel and unfair . Feb wow thats not long ago its awful the first of everything my mum loved Christmas easter birthdays so would say time heals but it doesnt especially when you have children that dont understand that much . Thanks Jo, yes first of everything proving hard already, DREADING Xmas as dad was the biggest xmas fan. My heart breaks for you with your mum passing on Xmas day . I hope you are getting lots of cuddles from your wee ones, im finding comfort in that but so sad dad not here to cuddle us all too. Lots of love jx

Yeah i have 3 boys who are very loving so thats good . Yeah i find Christmas so hard because you have to put on this brave face but really just want the day over .. my mum made Christmas it was her favourite time and Easter..  love to you xx

I’m so sorry for your loss and for everyone else on this chat who has lost a loved one. My mum also died on Xmas day from pancreatic cancer (2018) and I’m bereft and lost without my best friend. I find it harder with my little ones as she doted on all her grandkids especially my youngest - they were incredibly close. I really struggle with the loss of their relationship with her as well as my own. All I want is to see her and hug her and talk as we used to all the time and I’m heartbroken and struggle to believe that’s never going to happen again.

Hi so sorry you lost your dear mum too ... its awful and people say time heals it really doesnt my mum was so young too and like you my now 9 year old struggling with it everyday and it seems drs dont want to know !!!!! I have to be strong for my boys but to lose your mum is unbearable pain . Sending you hugs xxxxxxx
