Hi everyone after 8 weeks waiting i finally having picc line fitted tomorrow and starting chemo friday fingers xx i dont have too many side effects oncologist said i probably wont lose hair so hope thats true .good wishes to everyone else
Excellent news, good luck to you, my hubby started chemo about three weeks ago and we were expecting the worst in terms of side-effects but other than Hair loss, (gradual and very recent) he has had very little to worry him .... other than this damn cancer of course! I hope you get on as well as he has. Take care of yourself, listen to your body and rest as much as you need.
Hi Susan Ruth thanks for reply .that's good to hear not much side effects .I will be pleased if my hair didn't fall out as my dad lives in care home and we haven't had to tell him anything yet no need worry him he's 93 .and so if I don't look different be good . surgeon also told me not lose weight before surgery fingers xxxx
