Hi Jill... I'm a breast cancer lady too ... and yes I've had a couple of appointments delayed ... they are so overstretched sometimes they have to put emergency's in earlier .. think that's why wer called "patents" coz that's what we need lots of ... and why it's called "a waiting room" coz we have to get used to waiting ...
But saying that, I'm 7 months post mastectomy and my oncology team are so wonderfull as I've had a few emergency appointments where they've stayed in their own time to see me ... so hold on in there ..and hopefully you've not too long to wait now .. l called McMillan to chat to someone when l was where you are now, and it really helped me ... there's lots of us breast cancer ladies on here ... and they are an amazing bunch ... so your not alone, wer on the same journey, just different stages ...
