Hi there.

I started metronazole and doxycline just over a week ago, for pid.

 a few days later i noticed a red patch on my breast as touched it i felt a hard lump underneath it.

I also started having breast pain, i went to the gp she said she is reffering me to the breast clinic as dosent feel like a cyst.

I stopped taking the antibiotics as i was worried they caused it, i then looked online and there has been a lot of trials of metronazole casuing breast cancer, has anyone heard this?

could it cause cancer within a matter of days?

My dilema now is im in pain again which i think is my pid pain, so i would prob need to take the antibiotics again, but im scared too!

Im going to call my dr later and tel them the pid pain is back and see what they say, but im scared to bring up the cancer risk unless they think im nuts lol.

Sorry to ramble on any advice or info would be great
