Will seem like a short introduction to myself but my heads all over the place!
I lost my mum in May 2019 to Ovarian cancer and she had previously had breast cancer, when undergoing treatment mum was tested for the BRCA gene and in turn when she was positive me and my sister also both test and through some wish we are both negative.
I've been experiencing pain after intercouse, weight gain tummy pains and light bleeding for in total around 6 months now. I'm 27, had my smear which was clear, I had bloods which I have been told came back fine, and today went for my transvaginal ultrasound. Within 3 hours of my scan the hospital have called and asked me to come back for a second scan to look at something on my right ovary (they couldn't find my left which apparently is common) but my head is spinning! I know people have far more symptoms and are fine but with our past with my mum my head is in overdrive! Just wondering if anyone has been called back so quickly for a second scan? She did say it would be likely to be within 2 weeks!
Thanks! H x
