Caelyx and swelling

Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone has any swelling whilst on caelyx and carboplatin?

My first line chemo was was taxol and carboplatin, and I had very little side effects. The swelling is the whole of my left leg, worse at the top. I've had an ultrasound and a doppler scan and everything is fine, so it's all a bit of a mystery!

    Sorry to hear about the swelling on your left leg. Fingers crossed it will go down soon but do keep an eye on it in the mean time and let the doctors know if it gets worse - hopefully not though. 

    I wasn't able to find anyone on the forum that has posted about this chemo combination and side effect recently but hopefully some members who have experienced swelling with one or the other will pop by to share their experiences with you soon.
