It is always good to get changes and unusual symptoms checked out. But anyone on here, although may have a similar sounding situation, will have an experience that is very individual to them.

I wonder whether you still have contact details for either a specialist nurse (cns) or the hospital team who you were under previously to update them with what is going on. Or it is something you can contact your GP about too as they also know your full medical history. Either way a health professional needs to check things out for you and assess you properly.

I had lots of problems with breast duct extasia dilated milk ducts, after lots of infections and operations to remove ducts l had a breast reduction removing as many ducts and Breast  tissue as possible the lower part of the breast, Even with this l have had the odd duct infection they said they cannot get to  all the ducts no regrets as so much better. Not cancerous fortunately but the ducts can become cancerous.  
l would contact your breast team about the discharge for reassurance if nothing else
