Hello all

Today I had my fast track appt, with regards to swollen area in left armpit, with lump and sore boob.

I cried all morning, and finally summoned the courage, attended on my own, and came away knowing nothing....
I had a mammogram, but apparently no radiologist there to 'read' the scan? Then no one to do ultrasound? And no one to do biopsy. So came away with only the mammo done?!

I have to go back on Friday for the rest. Its exhausting :-(

I saw a lovely consultant woman, who although she seemed very old (in 70's) was actually very kind and sweet and reassuring.
But the consultants can't tell much from a manual exam can they? 

All in all, exhausted, severly disappointed, no better off and not sure how I'll get through Friday as I have to be there at 8am, and I have to start work at 12 noon :-( 

Anyone heard of this happening before?
