Hi all
my appointment is tomorrow evening but this morning, the lump has vanished. My husband has also checked and can't find it. I'm going to still go to the clinic as I am still worrying endlessly.

I am glad to hear that you have got an appointment so quickly. It sounds like great news that your lump has disappeared. It is still a good idea to go to te clinic, just to make sure, but here's hoping for good news.

Hi all
I had my appointment tonight - they said they could feel a small cyst left over from the infection. They said they were confident that was what it was and I was to have an ultrasound but I could go straight after. They were so confident! The radiologist couldn't feel a thing, did the scan and said everything was fine. She couldn't find anything.
Apparently it's a cyst that becomes infected when I shave and it then raises the lymph node. I was too relieved to take it in but my husband said that's what I was told.
thank you for the hand holding since I saw my gp last week - I've been reeling and felt isolated from people I know so having this forum to come to has been so helpful.
