I just wanted to say a thank you for the replies from my post yesterday.   I don't know what magic happened,  I managed to get a little more (not a lot) sleep, and have got up this morning in a more positive frame of mind.  Perhaps it was just voicing the fears, I don't know......but it has helped put things more into perspective.
