Hello, that's seems a long wait for results?? I would defo be chasing that up....I would also be thinking no news is good news.....go on....give them ring and put your mind at rest xxx

Thanks, they did same they might take a little longer with Xmas etc so will see if anything arrives later in the post and if not will make the call, let’s hope it’s trye , no news is good news x

If your results are due to come out soon then i think its best to chase up and get all the necessary treatment as soon as possible. It must be very difficult and worrying time for you but the sooner you call the sooner youll be able to deal with the problem and youll be able to give your mind a rest as well.

I have called the unit and been told my results have come back clear thankfully, should receive a letter in a few days, actually crying with relief but also so grateful for forums like this that you can turn and relate too, if only more people had positive outcomes so I thank myself lucky and glad I attended my 1st mammogram appointment, xx

Hi I'm currently waiting for biopsy results a week today.

I just wondered if any one yourself included had biopsies on there armpit as Well that is worrying me the most, I'm thinking they know I have bc so checking if it's spread.

I have a constant sick feeling in my tummy I'm so so scared can't stop crying.

All this after a routine mammogram.

Im sorry ive only had biopsy done on my breasts but not armpit you should speak to a professional if you’re worried because googling and people tells you different things it’ll confuse and worry you even more when you’re already worried enough. Good luck! hope everything is well!

I had biopsy of my breast and to my armpit.  As you say the armpit was done to check to see if cancer had traveled to my sentinel nodes.  I have been lucky it hadn't but the first few nodes were still removed during surgery just to be on the safe side.  Like you my treatment has been the result of a routine mammogram I had absolutely no idea at all.  I consider myself very lucky and am now waiting for radiotherapy.  Good luck with your treatment and try not to worry too much (i know easier said than done) but is better they test for everything and then remove as little as possible.
