Have you contacted a doctor? Blood on the tissue can be a whole lot of things (and cancer is far from the most likely, especially if you are younger) but it's worth getting checked out.

For what it's worth, I had that and a number of other symptoms this summer and got it checked out and the specialist said that at 40, I'd be "the unluckiest person in the world" if it turned out to be cancer, but that a colonoscopy was the only way to know for sure what was going on. It turned out to be hemorrhoids.

There are loads of possibilities. Some are really minor like hemorrhoids or a fissure and some are more serious like polyps, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's or even cancer.
