Thank you brian. Well i didnt have a biopsy the surgeon just did another ultrasound with color and i heard him tell nurse you see all those little ones. It went so fast had no time to ask questions. So im still waiting. Meanwhile i ve been real sick. Ive been all over this forum. Thanks for hearing me out.
I had my biopsy today on an enlarged lymph node in my neck. It took about half an hour and was completely painless. Feels a little bit sore now but no more than a bruise or a bump to the knee etc. Good luck tomorrow the worry and the thought of it is the worse part, it'll be over before you know it.
I’m expecting my results next week. My main symptom has been an enlarged lymph node in my neck. My left supraclavicular node is measuring about 4-5 cm, although the ENT consultant I saw last week seems to think it’s a number of nodes matted together. They have been enlarged since about February this year and have slowing been getting bigger. I also have constant pain into my shoulder and down the top of my left arm probably due to the size of the lump and it pushing on nerves and tendons. I’m tried and I have a few night sweats, although I seem to be hot a lot of the time and the slightest things seems to make me really really hot!
Waiting as most of us know is one of the worst times for the brain goes into overdrive and always seems to imagine the worst case scenario. From what I know the surgeon probably wouldnt have told you any thing yesterday for they normally have a team to scan the results of any test, When I had my biopsy and MRI and CT scans done I had to wait about two weeks before I was called back to be given the results. Longest two weeks of my life I dont mind admitting.
Hope you are feeling better today and dont worry about being all over the forum, thats what its for. One of the things we often dont realize is that by posting about our problems, we may be helping other people for allthough they may not respond or even be a member it may well be of comfort to them.

Yesterday i had an ultrasound and the lymph node has color and he said there was a whole bunch in one i was shocked didnt ask no questions. But i have been sick loosing weight not to much 10lbs since the 17 of july and im a big girl 5'8 at 225lbs now 215. Night sweats. Today i started having some chills. Just now started drinking almond milk yesterday i was so sick but i ate pizza not good at all and drank coffee in morning. Today i been resting eating good stuff and it makes a big difference. Thanks. Keep me up dated on results.
Hi Berd I too am waiting for a biopsy under general anaesthetic in a weeks time I have lost a couple of pounds not sure whether it's with worry or not I am also very tired but unable to sleep in night finding it hard to think about anything else because frightened of consequences should this be a reacurrence. Want to wish you good luck with your results and hope they have got on to this early for you let us know how you get on you will never be alone
