Covid has made getting results difficult but I hope it helps to know that before the pandemic a lot of our members were receiving results, good and bad, in person so try not to read too much in to this if you can.

I know that's easier said than done but we're all thinking of you and wishing you all the best for Tuesday.

I just want the results over and done with now as the wait is killing me!!

My appointment is with the breast surgery team, does this indicate that what ever it may be will need removing? Or is everyone resukts given by the surgery team?

I'm literally in the same boat as you. Had my biopsy week before last. Was told they thought it was just a cluster of fibroadenoma's. They did the biopsy just to be sure. Was told I'd most probably get the results virtually and would get an appointment for it. Came home Friday to a letter with my appointment and I have to go in. I've convinced myself it must be coz its not good news. I've spent the whole weekend anxious and feeling terribly sick.

Thank you for replying! My mind has been all over the place since I got my letter last week and seeing it was with the surgery team.. Well I've convinced myself it's the worst and I can't seem to get out of that mind set!

When is your appointment? Mine is Tuesday morning at 11am and it can't come quick enough!!

That's ok, I can completely relate. Mine is with the breast surgery consultant too but then his name was also on my initial letter for the Breast Clinic. I've done exactly the same. Gone from being ok to worse case scenario. 

Mine is Wednesday at 3pm. Wish it was earlier in the day to get it out of the way.

I wonder if everyone sees the breast surgery team for results then? It really threw me off when it said that's who I was seeing xx

I think that is the consultants role and biopsy's are classed as surgery so try not to read too much into that. Says me who is doing exactly that. So yes I think everyone does see the breast surgery team xx
