I'm sorry to read what you're going through at the moment and I hope you're getting on OK.

Typical waiting time for biopsy results is usually 1-2 weeks.

It's good to hear that everything has been efficient and helpful so far. I hope it's not too much longer for you to wait for your results.

Good aftternoon!

Does this include even if it's something bad? I am assuming if they came back bad they'd call asap but I don't really know how this stuff works. Had my CT scan this morning. 

I must admit I'm quite impressed with how fast the process has gone. It sadly took me 10 months to get a referral to see a haematologist but in 6 days I've had my first appointment, blood tests, excision biopsy and a CT so I really can't fault it. Lets just hope results come in as soon as, waiting around is awful! Especially as I'm off sick now because I can't weight bear properly on the leg I had my lymph node removed from, I'm a HCA for my local trust so I definitely need to be fit for work before I go back!

Well 

my consultant has called me and said my biopsy is showing reactive lymph nodes and my ct scan has shown all my nodes are small - so I don’t have lymphoma. 

Now back to the beginning to find out what is wrong but at least it’s not cancer!

Hi wondering how your doing i had swollen groin node. Got biopsy on neck reactive?? 

I think thats why they never biopsed my groin incase complications later so they biopsed neck instead that was reactive. Groin node away now so hopefully that was reactive too.. I had itching also dont have any other appointments with nhs hametoligist and gp there not concerned going private to see haematologist just worry something under lying.. Sorry your experiencing trouble with your leg glad you managed to get another job.. Have you got any more appointments hope your ok 

Yes groin is a risky place for a removal. Several of my nodes are still swollen. No I've no more appointments just got to wait for the immunology one. Fingers crossed yours is good news
