My close friend has been put in for a stent op due 12days after a ct scan, which showed a growth pushing and blocking his bile duct. I want him to go to surgery but due to lack of information given/available my friends thinks it's good news as it will relieve the symptoms. Is there any way to push for information and also push to get surgery so there is no delay.

It scares the hell out of me that a cancer could be spreading whilst waiting for relief surgery instead of having life saving surgery.

How can I speed up the process?
