Been to GP - Had Blood Tests

So. I went to the GP the other day and ended up having blood tests, because some 'weird' things if you put it that way, were happening. These things consist firstly, of a lump in my right leg just above my knee. It's painless. Don't know anything else about it really. But I decided to have a look at multiple websites for symptons, after I spotted the lump, you know, just to be on the safe side. I notice I present with quite a few of them.

I've been getting random nosebleeds on and off for about 3 years. Literally out of nowhere. I just had one actually not about 30 minutes ago, and there was no cause. Sometimes I end up with 3 in a day, sometimes I go 3 days without one.

One of the more recent symptons I've discovered, which I read up on website suggests bowel movement. This only started just over 2 weeks ago. Can't really explain more than that really. It's as it says on the tin.

And generally just a few other things such as bad headaches, occasional dizziness etc.

Now, I know this forum isn't really the place for any official diagnosis, but I am still awaiting my blood test results and am really concerned that it might be some form of cancer - Just wanted to know if you think this is likely or I'm just being paranoid?

  • Hello Someteen17,

I'm sorry you're having these nosebleeds but hopefully your doctor can get to the bottom of it. Try not to worry and don't google too much as that will only make you worry more, which doesn't help things.

Hopefully you'll get your results soon so you're able to discuss next steps with the doctor.

    Best wishes,
