Hey all - just an update.
i had my consultation on Wednesday with the surgeon and unfortunately I'll be undergoing a sigmoid colectomy on Tuesday. The polyp removed was cancerous and under the microscope / biopsies it's concerning them and they can't be sure it's not in the surrounding bowel.
It will then be referred for genetic testing as I'm only 35F so unusual to have a bowel cancer. Very anxious but staying positive it's not spread or in the lymph nodes.
