I had a biopsy of worrying area 

your mind starts racing all you can do is take one day at a time ....easier said than done 

keep of the internet as I found pretty much everything on there is worse case scenario  

wait until you know something for definite 

then don't be rushed into decisions

Hi! A few months back I had an inflamed left breast, GP initially diagnosed as a form of mastitis but didn't respond to antibiotics x 2 rounds or the cream they gave me. I was referred for an ultrasound, and in the ultrasound they took 3 biopsies of "worrying areas". That whole week of waiting I didn't sleep properly, I had visions of them telling me it was cancer and if I googled inflammatory breast cancer I pretty much ticked off every symptom. Any way, I had my results in the hospital exactly a week later and it wasn't anything serious and I didn't need surgery. My milk ducts had become inflamed and they couldn't explain why.

Dr Google is the worst for worry, its easier said than done but please try to relax and put off thinking about it. Praying for you that it's nothing serious

Thank you so much for the replies. I too googled my symptoms and was convinced I had inflammatory breast cancer and had months to live! Your post has made me feel much more optimistic-I very much appreciate you taking the time to reply and for your prayers.
