Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with Grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer following a routine mammogram on 27th October 2020 and subsequently had a sentinel node biopsy on 16th Nov then a mastectomy & immediate reconstruction on December 3rd. Yesterday I had my Dexa scan which showed normal, today I started Anastrozole and am keen to find out if the very common side effects are common & how anyone that's taking this medication is getting on with it, also how long does it take to get into your system. I'm been prescribed to take it for 5 years .... many thanks
