I think your best bet would be to see a doctor, as daunting as it sounds, it's better safe than sorry. It could be anything to a cyst, or a non invasive lump, or a swollen area in your rectum etc. 

See a doctor as soon as you can to cross out all possibilities of it being something progressive. You've got this!

Please do get it checked. It is likely nothing but my friend who had had piles for a number of years preumsed she had piles again but it was unfortunately cancer. However she did have other symptoms such as severe weight loss and a lump in her groin. Like i say - i'm sure it's nothing but better to get it checked if anything to put your mind at rest.
