Am I wasting the clinic's time?

Hi everyone

A few weeks ago I noticed that my right breast was really sore but didn't think much of it (I'm 52 on HRT) until my sister suggested that I check myself. I found an oddly shaped "bump" behind my nipple which freaked me out. I spoke to my GP who kindly examined me and said that the lump is 99% probably a cyst (shape, situation and soreness) and referred me to the breast clinic.  In the meantime the soreness has totally gone and the bump has gotten smaller. Should I still go and get checked? I'm really worried that I'll go, it won't be anything serious and I will have wasted their time and a valuable appointment. Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks ️
