Am I unusual?

Hello to you all, I have joined to share my moans and hope that i can share something that will help others.

I  have Prostate cancer and Mesothelioma and have just been informed that I have to have a biopsy from my bladder as part of it is causing concern. I wanted to go to Spain but there is always something that prevents me.

    Hi Redfeed,

No, you are not at all unusual. It sounds as if you are going through a lot of tests at the moment. Can I ask when you were first diagnosed with the other cancers?

Unfortunately, we all need tests before we have surgery. This lets the surgeon know if there is something untoward, where it is and what size it is. The cancer journey is a slow one and it involves loads of tests, surgery and then treatment.

It is possible that, once these tests are over, you may be free to go to Spain. Talk to your consultant about this once you get the results of your tests. Remember to get insurance which will cover all of your medical problems.

I hope that you manage to get away, as I'm sure that you'll feel better for a glimpse of some sunshine. Please let us know how your tests go. We are always here for you whenever you want to talk.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine
