I had my lumpectomy in Jan this year. I’ve been left with one small boob and one bigger one. I had a lumpectomy and a uplift. Is this normal. Feel very aware of being different. I’m at a surgical review on fri so will mention it..
I had a chat with my breast care nurse and have been given a prosthetic boob which fits over the top of my smaller boob. She was really kind and spent a while trying different sizes to get the right fit. I don’t wear it all the time but it’s good to have for special occasions.
I’ve also got a prosthetic boob, sits inside my bra so at least look even. The hospital I go to has a specialist bra fitter go in once a fortnight and we tried various shapes and sizes until we found one I happy with. I also got a voucher for a free bra!
