Nurses in hospital were great but after overnight stay for op (less than 12 hours after mastectomy) I was discharged. To empty home. And I had to provide my own transport. Where was the after care?
That's terrible ... I know after my masectomy and my aunties, no district nurse came at all , as was promised .. but at least I had family at home ... try calling McMillan tomoz as sometimes they get someone to pop in to help with shopping etc ... l used to do that as a volenteer ... fingers crossed it's running where you are ...
Think your Drs surgery should be informed too ... the whole system seems to be falling apart ... though it's Easter Friday to moz ... just hope you can get hold of someone ...
