Advice for Small, painful lump on neck?

Hi,

I have recently noticed I have a small pea- sized lump on my neck. It is slightly painful to touch yet moveable and relatively soft. I have had no other symptoms what so ever. I worry very easily and after researching I've only made myself more worried. Is it something to worry about or is it probably nothing?

    I'm currently going through this as we speak! I've gone to the doctors to get it checked and they said it seems more like a deep pimple or some sort as I tried to squeeze and fluid came out

    Get it checked if you're worried though! Dont feel embarrassed if it turns out to be nothing as I've been the same and convincing myself of all sorts x
