Advice after hyteroscopy

hi I'm 28 years old and have recently had a hyteroscopy. I have previously had cells removed and a colposcopy which they also done alongside my hysteroscopy. Have thickening of the womb and a cyst on my ovary.

so I had this done two weeks ago which bought on a period although not sure and I'm constantly bleeding, for the last 3 days I'vehad severe pain stabbing pain in my tummy I'm not sure if this could be a complication of the procedure or unrelated. It is crippling when it comes and I'm unable to walk when it does I find myself not wantingto go docs or hospital as I'm constantly there I feel they just fob me off or am making things up has anyone had a any complications after xxx

  • Welcome to the forum Misst1991 although I'm sorry for what you've been experiencing since you had your hysteroscopy and colposcopy.

Hopefully this will start to ease as your body heals but if this is proving to be unmanageable at the moment it would be best to let a medical professional know as they should be able to provide something that will help. If you don't feel comfortable seeing your doctor maybe you could contact your local pharmacy.

Our cancer nurses are also available for a chat on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m as well.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Misst1991.
