Advanced ulcerating breast cancer?

Not sure when i should post this as im looking for others past experience and advice.

Background: I am 30, have an 8 year old daughter. Both mother and grandmother had breast cancer - we have brca1 in the family. Both have been terminal.

About 2 months ago I had what looked like a normal spot on my right breast, you know the type you get when your bra rubs a bit too much. No lump, no obvious cancer. Fast forward to Xmas and I had what I thought had become an abscess- filled with fluid. A few thing happened before I eventually got a doctor appointment. When the doctor saw me he sent me on a same day referral to the breast clinic at the local hospital.

Long story short the consultant said it was almost certainly some kind of ulcerating breast cancer and if would be looking at chemo and surgery. But I had hope that maybe they were wrong or that it was really early. Biopsies taken - get them back 31st January.

Yesterday I received a copy of the letter the hospital have sent to my gp - it says I have advanced ulcerating breast cancer and that it appears to have spread to nodes.

I was just wondering if anyone could share experiences of this type of cancer? Doctors are very clinical in descriptions and I'm looking more for others personal experiences. Since my biopsy last week my breast has become far more ulcerated, it has a foul odour and I'm in absolute agony with it. It's amazing how quick my breast has become such a mess.
