i did not have the radium yet. 

I also have advanced prostate cancer  - have been fighting the cancer since aug 2007.

Hi thanx for your reply I was diagnosed in 2012 been on hormone therapy and also had chemo as part of the stampede trial now my cancer has spread and been given 3 options two are trials and the third radium injections have to decide by end of this week ...

You deserve other options, such as bicalutamide plus lupron (prostap) , or jusr bicalutamide.

For extremely advanced cancer there is also abiraterone plus lupron (prostap) and prednisone. That is what I am on right now. 

What are the trials based on?? 

and why are you bbeing offered the radium?  are you in extreme pain ?  That is for when you are in unbearable pain.
