I had chemotherapy and found it much easier than radiotherapy, but I only managed to have 4 sessions as my blood count was too low for the last one. Treatment is challenging...but I was just saying to someone today it’s only temporary and oh my, it’s been so worthwhile! xx

Both my daughters went through chemo and radiotherapy. I know exactly what is to come but it still doesn’t stop me from worrying, especially as I’m 30 years older than they were.

I made this post more than 2 years ago now...and a lot happened since then, unfortunately. My cancer did recur 9 months after I posted, I spent 5 months virtually bedridden in 2020, had 2 operations-one major which changed my life completely, but here I am...2 years down the line, grateful every day for the 3 surgeons who saved my life, and enjoying feeling well again! Thank you-we have spoken before on another post and you are very kind. I hope your mum is doing ok and you are too. xx

mum is due for her third round of chemo tomorrow... she had a reoccurrence of endometrial cancer and it's in her pelvic lymph nodes and para ortic lymph nodes only. So, desperately hoping chemo manages to kill off the nasty cells and she goes into remission...
