I am so sorry to hear about your latest health worries. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer. The first was 8 years ago and the second was 7. I had a fibroscan a few years ago and discovered that 11% of my liver was fibrosed. They seem to think that this is the result of medication. I now have annual abdominal ultrasounds to ensure that this area is not getting bigger and, so far it has been ok. I'm due to have another scan at the end of this month.

When did you have you bowel surgery and hysterectomy?

I sincerely hope that the spot you refer to is not a return of the big C and that you can continue to monitor it as I am doing.

Good morning 

My cancer was 3yrs ago in June this year.  Had the bowel sorted where the cancer was and as precaution they did full hysterectomy.  Great to hear things are going well and absolutely they need to keep checking you.  

Oh well just have to wait and see what they say Tuesday.  Then deal with it.  I understand 9mm is really small so guess that's good if nothing else

You seem to have taken the belt and braces approach 3 years ago, so I hope that this means that you are still clear and that there is another explanation for this spot.

Thanks so much. I'm trying hard not to imagine any symptoms haha in reality I feel awesome all things considered. However I'm under no illusions as to the chances of what nasty critter it could be.  I'll update once I know.

Hi there I was wondering what we're the spot on tour liver as I'm waiting for an mri scan for the same thing xx

no idea, they looked for 5hrs on the operating table and couldn't find it, then last hour they removed the part of the liver that it was showing on the scans and treated it as if they had found it.  Then sent for testing and nothing.  It's been a real mystery.  It was major open surgery too and I saw the spot on scan with my son and surgeon when he first consulted me.  When do you have your MRI?  I even joked with the surgeon if their machines were dirty haha
 

The surgery was easy and I bounced back after 4 weeks, even went back to work albeit part time.

Had my liver resection in December now June but what a lift that gives me, apart from funny side, yestrday had MRI the results today now 9mm from tiny new showing in March realise doesn't cure and variety of changing health checks but neverthless thank you

CT scan tomorrow, no fingers crossed just want to be able to pass on some stregnth to others.
