I am now on day 3 after my bowel surgery and want to post a positive message to anyone with any concerns that it does get better. The NHS have been beyond amazing and good luck to anyone waiting for tests or operations. X

I have my surgery Monday so good to hear some positive message. My cancer is on my tongue so having a hemiglossectomy and neck dissection!
The NHS are amazing... I got the diagnosis on Wednesday this week so only 5 days between that and the op!
Looking forward to getting all this behind me and carrying on with life.
